They had just won their second championship last season and are to celebrate their victory with a team pride parade. The team is an epic team just like their tribute to Olympic athlete and transgender icon Caitlyn Jenner.

The story behind the name “Dangling Jenners” began when the GM decided that he wanted to pay homage to Bruce Jenner, who had recently come out as transgender and changed his name to Caitlyn Jenner. The team also wanted change its name and dangle honor and courage to show support by incorporating her name into his fantasy hockey team.

In addition, it was important to represent not only Caitlyn’s dangling but also something unique about hockey – the ability to hang onto the puck and keep it away from opponents while playing on offense. As such, choosing “dangling,” which is a hockey term used to describe players who hold onto or maneuver with the puck for an extended period of time before making a move or pass. By combining this hockey term with Caitlyn’s last name, “Dangling Jenners” was born!
